Managing Director – Andrew started his career as a developer and was involved with projects for PCWorld and Freeserve. Since then, he has held various positions within Dixons Stores Group (DSG) and other IT related companies. Prior to setting up Node4, he was Technical Director of another IT solutions provider, focusing on wireless internet access to rural areas along with hosted solutions.
Business Development Director – Paul has been with Node4 since its formation in 2004 and has been instrumental in the growth and success the business has experienced. After graduating, Paul started his career in technology sales by joining an IT reseller. With progression and a couple of business moves later he met Andrew Gilbert who, impressed with his work, invited him to come and build the sales and marketing strategy for Node4.
Finance Director – Russell studied Management Sciences at Warwick University and after graduation joined KPMG. Following four years there, Russell spent seven years in logistics at Christian Salvesen plc. He then moved to Deb Group where he worked for 14 years, rose to Group Finance Director and joined Node4 in October 2013, shortly after the management buyout backed by LDC.
Mark is a senior partner of Bowmark and a member of the firm’s Senior Management Committee. He is a member of the Investment Committee and also leads Bowmark’s Healthcare and Technology practices. Since joining Bowmark in 2001, Mark has played a key role in the development of the firm’s investment strategy, and has led a number of successful investments in the Technology, Financial Services and Consumer sectors.
Stephen has seven years’ experience as an investment director at Bowmark, and is a member of the Technology and the Business Services teams. He also leads Bowmark’s Financial Services practice.
Prior to joining Bowmark, he was a principal at mid-market private equity firm, Darwin Private Equity, where he worked on investments in the Technology, Financial Services and Consumer sectors.
Business Development Director – Passionate about delivering the best possible customer experience, Paul takes a proactive leadership role across the entire business, particularly in the areas of sales and marketing where he defines and executes business strategy to ensure Node4 continues to grow.
Finance Director – Russell has over 30 years of experience in finance and logistics roles. He joined Node4 in October 2013, where he continues to apply his extensive experience to ensure all finance concerns exceed company expectations.
Operations Manager – John is an original member of Node4 and is responsible for the smooth day to day operations of our state-of-the-art facilities. As a Prince 2 Project Manager, he also co-ordinates all major project roll-outs.
Chief Technologist (OpenSource) – Steve is a 30-year veteran of the software industry, he has worked with organisations such as the M.O.D., Boots, Ericsson, and Merrill Lynch, before founding Reconnix Ltd in 2001. As Chief Technologist of OpenSource he is responsible for ensuring Node4 stay at the forefront of delivering OpenSource software.
Data Centre Operations Manager – Rik is responsible for the design, development and running of our state-of-the-art Data Centres. With over 11 years industry experience he joined Node4 from Dixons Stores Group (DSG) International Plc, with previous experience within various technical and IT management positions.
Network Services Manager – As Network Services Manager, Chris manages the Node4 network infrastructure and our state-of-the-art Data Centres. With over 24 years industry experience designing, deploying and supporting converged networks, Chris joined Node4 in 2004 from Kingston Communications Plc.
Technical Manager – Having initially developed the Voice Services division of Node4 Richard has responsibility for the Voice and Cloud product portfolios and management of the technical support team. He has over 12 years of experience in IT and Telecoms and joined Node4 in 2007 from NEC Infrontia.
Head of Managed Services – As founder and Technical Director of LETN, Gregg was the main Architect for LETN’s Cloud and Hosting Platform. Qualifications include advanced technical skills with vendors including Netapp, VMWare and Cisco. Gregg also has qualifications in Information Security (ISO27001), ITIL and PRINCE2.
Head of Sales, South – Steve’s first IT industry role was as Sales Director at Aztech Micros, and six years later he founded LETN solutions. He has a pre-sales technical background which has led to a consultative sales experience for customers. Steve’s core roles are around business development, strategic products and service focussed growth.
