			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Node4 provides colocation, connectivity and communication solutions, delivered across a national MPLS network powered by our industry leading data centres based in Derby, Wakefield and Northampton.  Node4 are one the UK&#8217;s fastest growing privately owned technology based companies, and were recently ranked 45th in the prestigious Sunday Times Tech Track 100 index.</p>
<p>Node4 are looking to recruit a Junior Software Developer to work within our small development  team in Derby.  The team develops and maintains systems that support Node4’s business and customer facing systems (web site, customer portal, etc).</p>
<p>We are looking for a developer with some experience of technologies including ASP.NET, C#.net and SQL Server.</p>
<p>You will have the opportunity to work with new cutting edge technologies and must be able to work within an agile software development environment.  You must be able to quickly build an understanding of our current systems (you will work closely with our existing developers to facilitate this).</p>
<p>You will be involved in the design, implementation and testing of solutions based on briefs provided by various internal business departments.  You will be provided with guidance by an existing Software Developer.</p>
<h3>Key Skills:</h3>
<p>The ideal candidate will have skills in some of the following areas:</p>
<ul>
<li>Microsoft C# Object Orientated Programming experience in .NET 2, 3, 3.5 (.NET4.0 ideal)</li>
<li>Microsoft Team Foundation Server / SourceSafe</li>
<li>Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 / 2010</li>
<li>Microsoft SQL 2005 / 2008</li>
<li>Standards-compliant XHTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery and knowledge of cross browser / cross-platform issues.</li>
<li>ASP.NET development</li>
<li>Adopt good Accessibility and SEO practices</li>
<li>Working knowledge of W3C web accessibility requirements</li>
<li>WCF, SOAP and WebServices experience</li>
</ul>
<h3>Working Hours:</h3>
<p>Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm</p>
<h3>Experience / Knowledge:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience of developing applications</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Must be very organised and conscientious</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications:</h3>

<p>We are committed to building on our growing success by meeting and  exceeding customer’s expectations through continued investment in  facilities, infrastructure and most importantly our team. As part of  this structured growth we have a vacancy for a Voice Services Engineer based in Derby.</p>
<p><strong>Key Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Node4 provide several communications platforms to our resellers and customers, both as hosted and on-site solutions.  These include products from manufacturers such as Cisco, NEC, Polycom and Genband.  These products are installed and maintained by our Voice Services team.</p>
<p>We are looking for a new member of the team who comes from a telephony background, with experience of on-site installation of telephony systems.  The role will require some knowledge of IP and networking, but additional training will be provided on this.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate would be a telecoms engineer who wants to move towards a more data-centric role.   Whilst there will be some on-site work required, the position will be based from our office in Derby (candidates who live close to our other sites in Wakefield or Northampton would also be considered).</p>
<p><strong>The ideal candidate would be expected to demonstrate:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The ability to plan, implement and support NEC SV8100 and/or Cisco Unified Communications systems</li>
<li>A knowledge of IP/VoIP technologies and the willingness to expand on this knowledge</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills – face to face, written and on the phone</li>
<li>Enthusiastic approach to working life</li>
<li>Ability to work pro-actively and as part of a team</li>
<li>To be committed to delivering an excellent customer experience</li>

<p>Key Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:</p>

<p><strong>As a growing business we now have a large customer base and want to ensure that we maintain and develop the customers we have.  The Internal Customer Account Manager (ICAM) will manage a set of house accounts and through regular contact (via phone, email and other marketing communications) will ensure that the customer is delighted with the service as well as looking to uncover potential new opportunities to provide services from our diverse product portfolio.  The ICAM will be the main point of contact for these customers and will handle all enquiries, taking responsibility to ensure that they are dealt with in the best possible way.</strong></p>
<p><strong>In addition the role will also provide support to Sales Management in support of some other key accounts.</strong></p>
<p><strong>This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic fast moving business, enjoys dealing with customers, is a great communicator and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.</strong></p>
<p>The role is full-time based from either our Derby or Northampton sites.  There will be a basic salary of up to £17k per annum plus a quarterly bonus giving an annual OTE of upto £25k.  The bonus will be paid against a defined set of Key Performance Indicators around levels of service and our other core values.</p>
