Townscape Products use Node4 to Dramatically Improve their Infrastructure

Sutton-in-Ashfield based street furniture supplier, Townscape Products have partnered with hosting experts, Node4 Ltd resulting in drastic improvement of the business’ IT system.

A reliable website is an increasingly important part of any business and with Townscape’s site constantly growing it was important for them to find a hosting provider who could supply a solution which would include access to a support team available 24/7. Their existing suppliers were based in the USA which meant the time difference created huge communication problems so they needed to find someone closer to home.

After a referral by an existing customer of Node4’s, Townscape Products looked over a proposal from the Derby IT company along with 5 other major companies who all offered a managed hosted solution. Dave Larthwell from Townscape says; “We felt that the honest approach of our Node4 Account Manager together with the ability to get any technical questions answered quickly gave us the confidence to proceed with the Node4 solution.”

The new website solution is now hosted on a top of the range HP server in a state-of-the-art Data Centre which is owned and managed by Node4. The dedicated broadband connection supplied with the server has given Townscape a more reliable website, creating a faster delivery of information to visitors to the site. The technical support team at Node4 are on hand 24/7 ensuring that the server runs smoothly.

The two companies are looking forward to working together in the future as Townscape Products expands, Mr Larthwell comments; “We hope to expand into other technical areas and we know that Node4 have the capability to deliver an ever increasing range of services with confidence.”
