The Node4 team comprises of individuals from a range of business backgrounds. The Drive behind Node4’s success is a desire to offer a customer service that is second to none. Using their varied industry experience our management team oversee various aspects of the business, leading from the frontline.
Andrew Gilbert, Managing Director
As the founder of Node4, Andrew started his career as a developer and was involved with projects for PCWorld and Freeserve. Since then, he has held various positions within Dixons Stores Group (DSG) and other IT related companies. Prior to setting up Node4, he was Technical Director of another IT solutions provider, focusing on wireless internet access to rural areas along with hosted solutions.
Paul Bryce, Business Development Director
As the Business Development Director, Paul takes overall responsibility for the sales and marketing functions of the business. He joined Node4 in 2004 and has over 15 years industry experience, with previously held positions at Kingston Communications Plc and other IT solution providers.
Stephen McElvaney, Finance Director
As the Finance Director, Stephen joined Node4 in 2009. With over 16 years experience in strategic development and corporate finance, he provides the strong financial background to compliment the technical knowledge of the other Directors. He has previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer within a Danaher subsidiary.
John Hopkinson, Operations Manager
As Operations Manager and one of the original members of Node4, John is responsible for the smooth day to day operations of our state-of-the-art data centre facilities. As a Prince 2 Project Manager, he is also the owner of all major project roll-outs.
Rik Williams, Data Centre Operations Manager
As Data Centre Operations Manager, Rik is responsible for the design, development and running of our state-of-the-art data centre facilities. As well as overseeing the technical side of Node4, Rik also manages the help desk, software development teams. Holding over 11 years industry experience joined Node4 from Dixons Stores Group (DSG) International Plc, with previous experience within various technical and IT management positions.
Chris Pagel, Network Services Manager
As Technical Services Manager, Chris oversees technical consultancy in all areas such as sales, project delivery and management of the technical support team. Managing the Node4 network infrastructure and our state-of-the-art data centres. With over 15 years industry experience designing, deploying and supporting converged networks, Chris joined Node4 in 2004 from Kingston Communications Plc.
Richard Buxton, Voice Services Manager
Richard developed and manages the Voice Services division of Node4. He has responsibility for all related products and services including Node4′s SIP Trunking platform “SIPlink” and other Unified Communications products. He has over 12 years of experience in Unified Communications and joined Node4 in 2007 from NEC Infrontia where he was involved with new VoIP products and services.
Shane Dove, Account Director
As the Account Director, Shane is responsible for major accounts and all aspects of the day to day running of the sales team. Key responsibilities are sales management and commercial negotiation. Shane joined Node4 in 2006, after spending 10 years in the auto industry formally as business development manager.
