Chris, a Cloud Network Architect for Node4, had been studying intensely for the last 6 months for the CCIE exam, and his efforts paid off because he passed first time. With an average exam pass rate of 1 in 8 across all the CCIE tracks, it’s a great achievement (the DC track actually has one of the lowest pass rates).

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert and Cisco Certified Design Expert certifications are accepted worldwide as the most prestigious networking certifications in the industry. There are approximately 50k total CCIEs in the world, however, there are only 6 CCIE DCs in the UK. Having a CCIE DC engineer in the Node4 network Team is a real differentiator.

Network Engineers holding an active CCIE or CCDE certification are recognised for their expert network engineering skills. The CCIE/CCDE community has established a reputation of leading the networking industry in deep technical networking knowledge and are deployed into the most technically challenging network assignments.

Once again, congratulations to Chris Jowett, what an achievement.
