Account Manager - Desk Based

We have an opportunity to join our desk based Account Manager team in our Derby office.

The primary purpose of the Account Manager is to look after a set of defined Node4 accounts and generate new accounts. The aim of the role is to ensure that accounts stay as customers and that the level of business from them grows.

This will happen through a number of activities including: regular contact, managing customer requests, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. As a result of effective account management new business opportunities should also be generated. The role forms a crucial part in Node4’s aim to provide “Exceptional Service as Standard”.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the contact strategy within defined accounts.
  • Develop Account Development Plans for nominated accounts.
  • To be the sales point of contact and own allocated accounts.
  • Deal with defined inbound smaller sales enquiries to generate opportunities and pipeline.
  • Develop accounts to a point for transfer to BDM ownership.
  • Day-to-day support for defined Key Accounts (Raising Quotes, Maintaining accurate CRM records, Managing customer queries, Deal Registration with Vendors, Providing documentation, proposals and tender information).
