Job Description

The Account Director will mainly be focused and targeted on maintaining and developing run rate revenue within the allocated client base. This is achieved by providing excellent customer service through excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Key to the role is working closely with both clients and internal teams at Node4 to create reliable and consistent relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

The Account Director should fully understand the Node4 proposition supported by sufficient product knowledge to ensure they can develop the relationship and qualify opportunities before engaging technical resource as appropriate.

With exceptional people-management skills, first-rate knowledge of industry trends, and excellent attention to detail, you will be required not only to provide exceptional tactical and day-to-day account support, but also to strategically and proactively develop and grow the account, extending opportunities with new clients and across new geographical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide development roadmap, technical and commercial, to Node4 strategic named accounts
  • Produce proposals and client facing commercial documentation
  • Can present Node4 value proposition to C-Level within strategic accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within strategic accounts from C-Level through to operational level
  • Ensure maintenance of existing revenue stream within allocated strategic accounts
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product to expand cross selling opportunities within strategic accounts
  • Work closely with Service Delivery Manager and Technical Account Manager to maintain client relationship
  • Continuously generate new ideas for client development
  • Successful candidate must have passionate and consultative approach to both client and internal teams

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge and experience of Node4 solutions (or similar)
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to appreciate customer demands
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, facilitation and presentation techniques
  • Evidence of clear progression within account management roles
