N4Engage is the Collaboration division of Node4. Operating under a separate brand and management structure from the rest of the Node4 business, N4Engage aims to be a dynamic and focussed team, delivering advanced technology solutions to businesses.

As a result of our continued year on year growth we need to expand our team and are therefore looking to recruit an additional Collaboration Project Engineer.

The role delivers complex projects to our customers, mainly relating to voice, video, customer contact and real-time communications solutions. During this process, the role requires discussion with the customer to determine the exact requirements, and then deployment of the relevant solution. Post deployment, the Project Engineer will handover the system to the Support team but may be called upon for assistance for any complex issues.

This role is varied and requires people with a logical approach and the ability to quickly learn new systems and solutions.

The successful candidate will be required to provide and promote a professional, high quality, customer focused service to our customers and partners, ensuring industry-leading levels of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deployment of customer solutions, from order receipt through to handover to support
  • Onboarding new technologies and solutions
  • Troubleshooting issues using several management systems and packet captures
  • Assisting with technical queries from our customers (2nd and 3rd Line Support)
  • Maintaining, updating and supporting internal and customer equipment

Essential Skills

  • Experience of installation and configuration relevant solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365/O365, Office, Teams, Azure, etc) would be a key advantage
  • Knowledge of Cisco Collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of SIP and VoIP technology would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to debug solutions using packet captures
  • General IP networking skills
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, in particular translating technical information into language used by non-technical people
