Service Now Systems Administrator

Job Description

This resource will be responsible for providing software configuration and customisation including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration and automation, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third-party software integrations. Administration tasks will also be required.

In this varied role, you will work closely with teams across the business to develop and enhance ServiceNow capabilities. This role will primarily focus on the system utilisation within Node4 SeviceNow systems. Focusing on system management and reporting and the quality of the data that underpins the operation, the role will encompass the ongoing monitoring, management and user training required to ensure that all system records maintain exceptional levels of data quality and functionality with a view to producing reliable and consistent reporting and operational performance to all departments within the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • The design, publication & maintenance of relevant reports
  • Define training plans for the effective use of relevant systems
  • Create & publish training content
  • Monitor & manage training effectiveness
  • Communicate with ServiceNow users across the business
  • Identify areas for business process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with necessary accreditations/regulations
  • Have and maintain a thorough knowledge of ServiceNow products
  • ServiceNow weekly release management
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse group of subject matter experts within the business
  • Triage, address, and close related tickets on daily basis
  • Stay current with ServiceNow products

Some Essential Skills

  • Certified (CSA) ServiceNow System Admins with minimum two years of ServiceNow experience
  • Have and maintain a thorough knowledge of ServiceNow products
  • Knowledge of, and capability of using reporting and data analysis tools
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT business
  • Self-motivated, strong analytical and organising skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Have an analytical approach to problem solving
  • The ability to maintain and develop effective relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work pro-actively and to tight deadlines
  • Understand the importance of, and how to deliver, great customer service
  • An appreciation of the technologies used in Node4 customer solutions
