Desk Based Account Manager

Job Description

The Account Manager will mainly be focused and targeted on maintaining and developing run rate revenue within the allocated client base. This is achieved by providing excellent customer service through excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Key to the role is working closely with both clients and internal teams at Node4 to create reliable and consistent relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

The Account Manager should fully understand the Node4 proposition supported by sufficient product knowledge to ensure they can develop the relationship and qualify opportunities before engaging technical resource as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service as standard
  • Maintain client run rate business by cross sell portfolio into accounts
  • Use targeted marketing campaigns in existing client base
  • Build strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Ensure client satisfaction by regular contact and maintaining up-to date records in CRM
  • Work alongside Service Delivery team to ensure clients are supported in line with the SLA and clients/Node4 expectations
  • Carry out regular customer contact that results in strong profitable business relationships
  • Represent and promote Node4 and its products/services in a professional manner
  • Increase exposure of Node4 within identified strategic relationships
  • Develop and deliver business and account plans into target accounts
  • Own the relationship and integrity of business with customers, developing and maintaining relationships with senior level contacts
  • Provide input and feedback to assist in the delivery of effective marketing and pricing programmes

Essential Skills

  • Be driven in keeping client base happy and informed, whilst maintaining data in CRM
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal, written and face-to-face)
  • Work well and get the best possible results from your peers
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of Node4 solutions Colocation, Cloud, Connectivity and Collaboration
  • Demonstrate ability to uncover new opportunities within existing client base and quickly build relationships on multiple levels within customers
