Internal Project Manager

Location: Nottingham or Derby

Job Description

As a result of our continued year on year growth we need to expand our Service Delivery team and are therefore looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager for internal Node4 programmes and developments.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage complex internal delivery projects, covering all aspects of IT system developments and deployments, business process re-engineering and third party systems and technology deployments, within budget and to a tight timescale. Multiple projects will be required to be concurrently delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the prime point of focus and contact for internal Node4 delivery projects
  • Liaise with Node4 internal teams across all functions
  • Ensure that all projects meet the key criteria of timeliness, cost and quality
  • Provide regular, proactive project status updates to management
  • Create and maintain resource plans for the delivery of projects
  • Create and maintain risk and issue logs for all projects under management
  • Invoke escalation and jeopardy management procedures
  • Maintain required management reports
  • Create required project documentation templates, ensuring compliance with the Node4 brand guidelines

Preferred Skills

  • An up to date accreditation in a recognised Project Management professional qualification e.g. Prince2/Agile
  • Proven experience of delivering complex, multi-site technology projects
  • Excellent communication skills (face to face, verbal and written)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work pro-actively and to tight deadlines
