Junior Business Development Manager

Job Description

As a result of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Junior Business Development Manager. This role is ideally suited for someone looking to develop their career in Business Development.

The purpose of the role is to build and develop sales based around an identified territory which will consist of a defined geographic area, or a defined part of Node4’s product portfolio or both. This will include definition of target customer markets in addition to management of the entire sales cycle - including lead and opportunity generation to sign-up of the customer.


Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Business Development Manager, your role will grow as you become more experienced in the creation of profitable revenue streams. Some tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed targets and KPIs
  • Create a sales business plan to meet and exceed targets
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Node products and our service portfolio
  • Familiarisation with Node4 systems and processes to support the end to end sales process
  • To promote a high level of customer satisfaction and advocacy within the client base through personal activity
  • Successfully develop and execute sales plans in order to develop and grow new profitable revenue
  • Successfully deploy, execute and review Account Development Plans for new clients
  • Define, develop and own customer relationships and customer contact strategy
  • Support the delivery of campaigns and events to help deliver profit and revenue growth targets
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of systems e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, CRM

Essential Skills

  • Experience/interest in working in the technology sector
  • Strong communication skills, both face to face and via email and telephone
  • High energy and a strong customer focus
