Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting customers networks – Ethernet LANs & WANs, routers, switches, firewalls
  • Own and manage support tickets
  • Utilise network management tools to support customer networks
  • Define and implement standard network provisioning tasks to fulfil customer orders
  • Define and implement change controls
  • Configure & troubleshoot routers and switches
  • Work with other support teams – Service Desk, Voice, Cloud and Applications

Essential Skills

  • Experiencing of installing and supporting Cisco and/or Juniper networking LAN and WAN solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good technical ability with a solid grounding in routing, switching, security products and technologies
  • Have a can-do attitude, be pro-active, enthusiastic and be able to pick up and learn new technologies in a fast moving dynamically changing environment
  • Cisco CCNA and/or Juniper JNCIA
  • Cisco CCNP and/or Juniper JNCIS
