We have an exciting opportunity for a Licencing Manager to join our Commercial team to assist with managing customer and Node4 internal licence requirements and processes. This is a new role that aims to streamline and evolve many activities that currently take place across this business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping up to date on licencing arrangements across key vendors
  • Using vendor models and offers to optimise Node4’s overall licence spend
  • Assisting the Commercial Manager with reviewing licence agreements
  • Taking ownership of the company’s software licencing compliance
  • Scoping out and implementing a licence compliance process.
  • Working with all relevant business departments
  • Acting as the key person for licence queries across the business
  • Working with sales and account management teams to ensure licencing billing is appropriately addressed
  • Creating and disseminating management reports
  • Becoming familiar with all aspects of licence mobility
  • Ensuring Node4 complies with all necessary vendor requirements
  • Generating relevant and timely management reports to monitor compliance activity
  • Metered licencing (e.g. VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft CSP, Veeam)

Essential Skills

  • Experience of licencing covering a range of vendors, but particularly Microsoft
  • Demonstrable prior experience from a similar role
  • Ability to work independently within a busy and varied environment
  • Ability to motivate other team members to fulfil actions relevant to licencing and be diligent in chasing/following up across other departments of the business
  • Strong attention to detail and can handle information confidentially
  • Good project management skills
  • Good Excel skills
