Technical Account Manager

Location: Any Node4 Site



Job Description

The Technical Account Manager will work alongside a virtual account management team to co-ordinate the various Node4 teams with the view on delivering first class support. The Technical Account Manager needs to be technically hands-on to resolve escalations or complex projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a rolling technical roadmap for each client
  • Regularly review the client’s estate and maintain documentation
  • Identify and propose mitigations to technical risks
  • Provide architectural insight to support teams
  • Own technical relationship between client and Node4
  • Identify opportunities to solve customer business needs with technical solutions
  • Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
  • Develop innovative solutions to customer requirements
  • Conduct customer sessions, training, and workshops
  • Attend service reviews, review solutions, and deliver this in customer relevant language

Some Essential Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Account Manager, or similar role
  • Solid technical background with hands on experience in similar environments
  • An ability to gasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of VMWare and other virtualisation technologies
  • Experience of Microsoft Azure and other public clouds
  • Detailed understanding of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System
