Junior Project Manager

Job Description

Are you experienced in Project Management but looking to advance your career within a exciting and forward thinking business? As a result of our continued year on year growth we need to expand our Service Delivery team, and are therefore looking to recruit a customer-facing Junior Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate and manage small to medium complexity projects, ensuring that multi-product, multi-site solutions are delivered to agreed timescales, within budget and to the quality required to ensure industry-leading levels of customer satisfaction. Multiple projects may be required to be concurrently delivered depending on individual complexity and scale.

The Junior Project Manager will be provided with Senior Project Manager support, mentoring and training with the long term plan of becoming an independent ‘Project Manager’ taking on larger more complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Provide the prime point of focus and contact for customer solution delivery projects.

Liaise with Node4 internal teams across all functions.

Ensure that all projects meet the key criteria of timeliness, cost and quality.

Provide regular, proactive project status updates to internal and external customers.

The creation and maintenance of Resource Plans required to ensure the delivery of projects.

The creation and maintenance of Risk and Issue logs for all projects under management.

Create all required project documentation, ensuring compliance with the Node4 Project Management processes.

Carry out formal Project Closure activities, including Customer Satisfaction Surveys and Lessons Learned reviews

Work with the Product Management and Sales teams.

Essential Skills

  • Understand the importance of and how to deliver great customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills (face to face, verbal and written).
  • Proven experience of managing or coordinating customer technology projects.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using general office software tools.
