Partner Markets Team Leader

Job Description

This is a senior role within the business with the primary purpose of the role being responsibility for managing an existing Channel Sales team and continuing with proven partner strategy. You will drive revenue and profitability of Node4’s products and services through the reseller and partner channel.

This will include strategic input and definition of partner programs, the solution portfolio and definition of target markets in addition to management of the indirect sales team and entire sales cycle – including lead and opportunity generation to sign-up of the customer.

The Partner Markets team leader will be focused and targeted on increasing revenue and profitability through indirect sales of Node4’s services portfolio. Working with partners and resellers you will increase exposure and sales of managed services, security, connectivity, voice services and all forms of hosting within existing partners and where agreed identify and recruit new ones.

You will have several direct reports who you will mentor, lead and effectively manage to ensure sales targets are met.

The role will work closely with the marketing team to contribute toward partner programs and help deliver marketing initiatives including campaigns and events. As a key part of the sales leadership team you will contribute to the strategic direction of the wider sales team. In addition as part of the sales leadership group you would be expected to play an active part in supporting the wider sales leadership team deliver the group sales objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate reporting including use of pipeline metrics, win/conversion rates to diagnose and improve the health of the sales operation

Work closely with identified strategic Partners at peer to peer level to cement relationships

Open up strategic relationships resulting in new routes to market and sales opportunities.

Take active involvement in helping close larger deals

Develop, manage and mentor a focused sales team, ensuring high levels of activity and motivation through regular 1 to 1 meetings to help manage individual performance

Present at Group Sales team monthly meetings on ongoing activity and strategic direction

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Attract, recruit, assess, and develop inspiring sales professional who reflect Node4 core values.

Represent and promote Node4 and its products/services in a professional manner and in line with Node4’s strong service culture and grow the Company’s sales competence in line with that culture.
